  • 150ml whole milk
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Fresh berries, powdered sugar, and maple syrup to serve

Instructions

    Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a shallow bowl.

    Dip each brioche slice in the custard for 20-30 seconds per side, letting it soak in.
