  • 700g skirt or flank steak
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Corn tortillas
  • Pico de gallo, guacamole, cilantro, and lime to serve

Instructions

    Combine orange juice, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, oregano, and oil. Marinate steak 2+ hours.

    Grill over very high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until charred on outside but still pink inside.

    Rest 5 minutes. Chop into small pieces.

    Warm tortillas directly over a gas flame.

    Fill tortillas with carne asada.

    Top with pico de gallo, guacamole, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
