  • 4 salmon fillets
  • For teriyaki sauce: 4 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp sake, 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Steamed rice, sesame seeds, and sliced green onions to serve

Instructions

    Mix teriyaki sauce ingredients in a bowl.

    Marinate salmon in half the sauce for 10 minutes.

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Cook salmon skin-side up for 3-4 minutes until golden. Flip.

    Pour remaining sauce over salmon. Cook 3-4 more minutes, basting constantly, until sauce caramelizes.
